Your interview should be somewhat scripted, and very intentional. It should take no longer than 7-10 minutes to know if you should offer a position or not with your potential agent. Use the β€œHiring Scripts” found below to help guide your conversation.

Ask the β€œKnock-Out” questions that will help during the vetting process. You do not want to hire someone that will likely become a liability or hider your business. Ask the uncomfortable questions now so you won’t regret hiring a bad apple later.

  1. Explain Chargebacks and how 25% of business will fall out

  2. Tell them to expect long days and hard nights

  3. You have to be able to put your feelings aside when you run into people with bad attitudes over the phone.

  4. Explain leads and cost of business

  5. Are you willing to commute an hour plus to get to your client’s residence?

  6. Are you willing to invest in yourself and fund your business with leads?

  7. Are you responsible enough to hold yourself accountable?


If you still think the recruit is worthy of hiring, now it’s time to ask the pressing questions. Be direct and to the point. We need to start putting a timeline of their success together.

  1. How many hours are you willing to put into your business every week?

  2. Do you have a good source of transportation? and/or a place for telesales?

  3. How soon do you intend to run your first appointment?

  4. How much do you have in your budget for leads?

ONBOARDING A NEW LICENSED AGENT

STEP 1/4: Add Your New agent to The FFLvictorylap Database

SUBMIT ONLY When your new agent is Licensed and has their NPN (National Producer Number), finish the steps on this page to get them contracted properly.

Step 2/5: Help your Recruit Register for the State exam

AFTER YOUR RECRUIT REGISTERS FOR THE EXAM, Your Agency manager (Arthur), or Agent Success Coach (Toni), will generate a pre-licensing voucher code for your new agent to start their courses.

  • Please have your 🏁 Recruit send a screenshot of the chosen test date and time. we need the screenshot to know that your agent is serious before we spend the money on a new study course scholarship (yes, we pay the $205 for the courses; It is not free to create their voucher)

  • We recommend you have your 🏁 Recruit take their state test about two weeks from today.

  • Use THIS PAGE (CLICK HERE) to help navigate your new agent through test registration.

    • The State page has quick tips, Test names, and a pictorial to help you register.

 Step 3/5: Pass Test & Get Fingerprinted

Give your agent access to buy leads off the CRM of their own.

First, log in to FamilyFirstLife.com

  • Click the β€œAccount” Button

    • (THE STAR ICON on the dashboard)

  • Click β€œMy Team”

  • Then click β€œAdd Team Account”.

  • Submit First name, Middle name, Last name, Email, and Uplines.

    (Use the screenshot below to fill out upline information )

Have your agent check their email with the heading β€œWelcome to Family First Life” when submitted.


 Step 4/5: Introduce Agent to Contracting Specialist.

AFTER Your agent has officially passed the test, fingerprints, and received their National Producer Number (NPN), let’s get this party started!

Important: Send an introduction group text to :

  • your new recruit,

  • Contracting Specialist: Brittany J- (909) 507-4246,

  • Agency Manager: Arthur F- (909) 263-6254,

  • and Integrity Partner: Steven Y- (626) 824-3253

We will help every new agent get through the contracting process so you can be hands-free.

  • After you send out the HCMS invitation to your new agent, she will send out 3 emails so they can create their own HCMS & SureLC accounts.

    • HCMS & SureLC are the 2 companies used to register new agents to get contracted with all the major carriers.

    • Have new agent check email from:

      {no-reply@hcms.chims.uppatop.com}

    **IMPORTANT: HCMS sends out a generated code that expires in 48 hours if the profile is not complete. Have your new agent finish their profile immediately.

  • It should take your new agent approximately 1 hour to complete both profiles.

Have your agent check their email with the heading β€œWelcome to Family First Life” when submitted.


  Step 5/5: Log into PROSPERITY; add new agent

After your new agent has submitted their profiles on HCMS and SureLC, log onto Prosperity to generate a new agent invitation code. Your agent should receive their Prosperity writing number within 3 days of completion or sooner.

  • click β€œCONTRACTING”

  • click β€œInvitation Codes”

  • Create a Generated code & send it to your new agent.

  1. Select Comp Level, highest option available on Prime Term, and 9 Months on Settle.

  • The compensation for Prosperity is 15% lower than what you are offering the agent for FFL comp.

    • Example: If new agent FFL starting comp is 105%, you would select 90% for Prosperity comp. (105-15 = 90)
